The music used in these videos is perfect.
The year my mom was born. 10/31/51-01/18/08
R.I.P. Shoeless Joe Jackson.
R.I.P. Eddie Collins.
My mom wasn't famous are anything like that. But she was a star in my eyes. 1929-2018.
*RIP to all*
The Hat man and legendary coach of America’s Team. RIP
To many errors not watching this site anymore
Robert elliot died of disease had me dying of laughter 😊
Jack Holt was not in treasure of sierra madre he’s son Tim Holt was in the movie
Jane Withers did much more than just those two roles you listed. She was a very lovely lady in real life! I got to meet and talk with her on two occasions. Such a kind and loving spirit she had! She had been best friends with Shirley Temple, too.
While some accounts list Ralph Byrd's death as being caused by heart attack, his widow Virginia Carroll said that he actually died of cancer.
Isn't it amazing that the Milankovitch cycles are never mentioned by the climate-change hysterics?
He only picks certain ones to listen to he's weird
Thanks, always a little trip through history.
That lady golfer at 8:45 looks like a man in drag... maybe he was a bit before his time? Update: per Wikipedia, she was a confirmed lesbian.
After watching every episode I google many of them to read more about them.
RIP
Walker's son was Charlie X on "Star Trek"
Charles Gates Dawes wrote the lyrics to the song "It's All in the Game", a huge hit in 1958 for Tommy Edwards.
No, he wrote the melody. Lyrics were written afterwards by Carl Sigmund.
@@brianthomas2434 Oops, got it backwards. It happens. Thanks man!
You missed one more baseball great besides Eddie Collins & Shoeless Joe Jackson......Detroit Tigers' great that later turned broadcaster Harry Hellmann died on July 9th of that year at age 56, played in the 1910s.& 1920s, winning batting titles in the latter decade......
I live in the town that Sinclair Lewis wrote about in his book Main street, his home town
Who is that in the pic you claim is Ferdinand Porche? Because that is NOT Ferdinand Porche.
Shoeless Joe should be in the Hall of Fame Even though he took the money he was the only one who played well Its been over a hundred years Come on 😊
Jackson hit well, but allowed three triples as a left fielder on defense. The scandal he abetter put the game in peril. He escaped a prison sentence. Forgive me (or don't) if he don't see the reason to honor him. Here's something to comfort you: it's pretty clear that the upcoming class of sports journalists, who have difficulty unfortunately the concept of "sportsmanship " are opening the doors of the Hall to steroid cheats. Maybe after they induct McGwire and Sosa they'll consider Jackson, too.
How can there be a modern high resolution picture of Ferdinand Porsche if he died in 1951? Doesn't even look like the same person on his wiki page.
I was going to say!! That looked very modern for 1951 😂
Ferdinand Alexander Porsche (11 December 1935 - 5 April 2012), also known by the nickname "Butzi", was a German designer whose best-known product was the first Porsche 911. He is the son of Ferry Porsche and the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche.
@@JoanneKlein63 So the pic is his grandson.
@@lohphat according to Wikipedia it is his grandson.
My beloved Olivia. I feel like crying every time I see your picture in Memoriam videos and been remind that you're gone. 😔😢
My beloved Olivia. My favorite female singer of all time along with Karen Carpenter. Its so hard to believe that you're gone. My heart is broken. You would've been 76 yrs old right now. DAMNED cancer. I would ALWAYS be hopelessly devoted to you.
Greatest lost for me in 2023. Was my dad Robert Lee Clark. May 1st 2023 Rest In Peace Dad love u always
4:34 Looks like Mr. Hines' cake frosting did a number on his teeth
Charles Laughton was quite sensitive about his looks. He'd be horrified that you chose a pic of him as Quasimodo for the thumbnail. Just sayin'.
you should do all the voices not a select few not cool
I invite you to try to find audio clips for EVERY voice. Keep in mind, you can't have any music playing while they speak. Good luck.
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
My father David. Passed away in 2023 miss you dad miss you❤😢
This video made me cry😢
My mother died in 2022. Miss you mom
I was born August of 1977
It looks like the picture for Morris "Moose " Charlap is actually a picture of singer Bobby Darin
This seems to be an unusual year: Ronald Reagan, Yassir Arafat, and a seemingly endless list of others who we knew well.
Terrible music
Another notable omission is Craig Sager. Long time sports reporter known for his spiffy wardrobe. Died 12/15/16
Notable omission to this list is Stuart Scott, longtime espn anchor. Died 1/4/15
Dabney Coleman, I saw several of his films in the '80s for sure. "9 to 5", "Tootsie", "Modern Problems", "War Games", "Cloak and Dagger". What a fabulous actor.
3:17 Shirley Temple is THE greatest child star to have ever lived, hands down. For me, George "Spanky" McFarland comes in at second place. This year was sad for the passings, but 2016 is the one I cannot believe. Still to this day in 2024, it's the worst celebrity year for deaths I have known in my lifetime to now. Thank you, Vince! Well done.
11:25 Eileen Brennan was in one of the best movies, for me, THE STING starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman. We both know them for another classic western. 11:46 Karen Black, my faves from her are "Trilogy of Terror", "Burnt Offerings", "Invasion from Mars" ('80s remake), "Airport '75", where she had to pilot the jet airliner by herself taking instructions from Charlton Heston and George Kennedy. Go see these if you get the chance. She is outstanding. Thank you, Vince!
1:53, Susannah played Superman's mother in SUPERMAN with Christopher Reeve. 12:57, Robert Blossom, was in one of the best horror movies of the '80s, "CHRISTINE" as the owner of the famed car who then sold it to Arnie, the teen who was bullied at school.
R.I.P. Phil Hartman.
R.I.P. Harry Caray.
